Our data platform: The Benefit Loop®

With our customers’ consent, Brighter’s solutions link the physical collection of their daily treatment data with our cloud-based platform. This data can then be shared with family members, physicians and others who need to stay up to date on the condition of someone in their care, so that quick adjustments to treatment plans can be made. We call this The Benefit Loop.

In addition to its use in daily care, The Benefit Loop can be applied in a variety of research settings to gather, process, analyze and organize real-life data. Through an open API, biosensors other than Brighter’s own solutions can also be connected to the platform, opening a wide range of possibilities for data-driven research.

Our intellectual-property platform.

Brighter also manages an intellectual-property platform comprising patents in several areas that are key to improving treatment for chronic diseases.

This portfolio includes patents for combining measurement and injection functions in the same device, measuring actual injected doses, predicting the wear-and-tear of medical devices using artificial intelligence, using smartphones to perform multi-variant analysis, and developing micro-sensor needles.

Brighter also licenses this intellectual property to other companies working on med-tech solutions in adjacent areas.

Pioneers Young – our initiative for young people with diabetes.

Pioneers Young is a community for adolescents and young adults with diabetes who want to share knowledge and motivate each other. Our goal is to create a community not limited by geographical distance or physical location.
