Together with the company’s management Jorge will develop the go to market strategies for Actiste and evaluate additional business areas in which the product can be applied, in addition to diabetes. With his proven skills as a business leader and experience from different executive positions within clinical development, medical affairs and related areas, his contribution is of highest value to Brighter. He has deep knowledge within oncology and clinical research as well as execution of novel medical affairs projects.
Ass. Prof. Michael Alvarsson, chief physician at Karolinska University Hospital in Solna, is active at the Clinic of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes. He also conducts clinical diabetes research at the Department of Molecular medicine and Surgery (MMK) at Karolinska Institute. The cooperation entails that Brighter further strengthens its competence regarding practical diabetes treatment and research within endocrinology.

Gösta has extensive experience from large international corporations as well as start-up companies.
Associate Professor Lars Wibell at Uppsala University Hopsital, is one of Sweden’s best-known scientists in the area of diabetes. He is an enthusiastic champion of good blood glucose level control, catering insulin treatment to each patient, and introduced HbA1c analysis in Sweden. Lars is one of the people who made significant contributions in the early days and continues in the same vein.
