Doing it right
should be easy.

Actiste® facilitates insulin-treated diabetes by integrating the most important functions in one device. And more than that, it's easy to take with you. Watch our video here.

Our fist launch is Actiste® Diabetes Management as a Service, for those living with insulin-treated diabetes. It includes a unified device for monitoring blood sugar and injecting insulin, unlimited consumables (test strips, needles & lancets) and an integrated mobile connection. The device automatically logs the blood sugar value and the actually injected dose of insulin and continuously sends the data to Brighter’s cloud so that the user can share the data with family, healthcare providers and/or others. This closes the treatment-feedback chain. We call it The Benefit Loop®.

The advantages are many; all invited can access real life, valid, effective and time stamped data. Facilitated self-care can drive behavioral change and better blood-glucose control, potentially less long term complications and suffering. The healthcare providers can improve efficiency and quality of treatment. Together, it can lead to a better health for individuals and ultimately lower costs for the society.
It happens a lot in the Brighter World. Sign up for our newsletter to keep updated on Actiste and other products.

Living with diabetes

is constantly treating diabetes.

If you have diabetes, you have to control your blood sugar and inject insulin, usually several times a day. You need to do it at home, in school, at work, after practice or when you're travelling. It doesn't matter if you're tired, happy, sad, stressed or head over heels in love. You need to keep track of your blood sugar and you need insulin.

It goes without saying that this can be tiresome over the long haul. And to feel good, you must always do things right—and that’s not always easy. If you’re like most people suffering from diabetes, who don’t use insulin pumps, then you currently need an insulin pen (or syringe), blood sugar monitor and strips—plus a journal for documenting doses and values so your doctor or nurse can follow your treatment.

Brighter’s first patented product family solves this problem. To succeed in all necessary stages, you need clear procedures and discipline, which isn’t always easy to maintain. So what do diabetic patients about this part of their lives? A study shows that 75% of surveyed diabetes patients wish that they had fewer things to keep track of.
